FAQ

  • Do you accept insurance?

We are out of network with all insurance companies, but do provide super bills for potential reimbursement. This is an intentional choice to prioritize the quality and flexibility of your care. By working outside of insurance constraints, we’re able to focus fully on your unique needs without the limitations of diagnoses, session time caps, or rigid treatment plans. Every patient is different with some improving very quickly, and others with more chronic conditions requiring additional care. This decision allows for a more personalized, responsive, and holistic approach to your well-being.

  • Do you only treat pregnant and postpartum moms?

Not at all! While Dr. Sydney has a special interest and deep expertise in caring for pregnant and postpartum individuals, we welcome anyone with pelvic floor concerns who has female anatomy.

Dr. Sydney’s own personal experience with Ulcerative Colitis and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome gives her deep empathy for patients navigating complex conditions. From bladder and bowel issues to prolapse, pelvic pain, and sexual dysfunction, she provides comprehensive, individualized care — no matter your background or diagnosis.

  • What payment options do you accept?

We’re proud to use a secure, all-in-one system through Embodia that keeps everything organized and accessible for you. This platform houses your treatment notes, personalized exercise programs, invoices, and payment history. It also allows us to easily generate and share superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. All payments (via credit card or HSA card) and documentation are handled conveniently and securely through Embodia.

  • When can I start while pregnant?

Right away! Our prenatal services are designed to not only help you manage pain but also to prevent common pregnancy-related complications. By giving you strategies to rely on as your baby grows, working on strength building and maintenance throughout pregnancy, and addressing poor movement patterns early, we support your body in adapting safely and efficiently — setting the stage for a more comfortable pregnancy and smoother recovery.

  • Are your services only for painful pregnancy symptoms?

Not at all. Pelvic floor therapy is just as much about prevention and preparation as it is about treatment.

During pregnancy, we focus on supporting your deep core and pelvic floor, enhancing mobility, and preparing your body for birth through targeted exercise and education. If symptoms like pressure, leaking, or hip, back, or pelvic discomfort arise, we're here to help you manage them effectively.

  • How can these services benefit me postpartum?

During postpartum, we support your recovery by assessing posture, rib movement, deep core and pelvic floor function, alignment, and your body’s ability to handle daily demands. We address concerns such as diastasis recti, perineal scar tissue, incontinence, or pelvic heaviness — all with the goal of helping you feel grounded and strong.

Every session is personalized to your goals, symptoms, and stage of motherhood — whether you're looking for relief or simply want to feel your best.
